Anti-Covid measures group posts MPs home addresses online
A group protesting against Czech government measures intended to curb the spread of the coronavirus have made public the addresses of coalition MPs, iDnes.cz reported on Wednesday. Chcípl PES posted the addresses on Facebook, saying if people could not make a demonstration against the government’s Pandemic Law near the Chamber of Deputies in Prague they could gather at MPs’ homes.
Mayors and Independents MP Barbora Urbanová asked on Twitter if politicians’ families were also now to blame for the legislation, while Christian Democrats chief Marian Jurečka said the move was “absolutely desperate”.
The police are now protecting the homes of the MPs in question.
