ANO holds lead in STEM July poll
The ANO party of Prime Minister Andrej Babiš would win the elections if they were to take place in July with 26 percent of the vote, suggests a freshly released poll by the Median agency.
The Spolu coalition, made up of the Civic Democrats, the Christian Democrats and the TOP 09 party, would come second with 21.5 percent of the vote, ahead of the coalition of the Pirate Party and the Mayors and Independents with 20 percent.
Some seven percent of respondents said they would cast their ballots for Freedom and Direct Democracy, while 6.5 percent would back Přísaha, a new party formed around former police chief Robert Šlachta. The Communist Party would also reach the five-percent threshold needed to win seats in the Chamber of Deputies, suggests the poll.
