ANO and SPD walk out of Chamber of Deputies over debate
The Czech Chamber of Deputies has decided to hold a closed-door debate on the country’s defense capabilities and military strategy. This measure, proposed by Defense Minister Jana Černochová and supported by the ruling coalition, aims to allow lawmakers to hear classified information, including from Chief of the General Staff Karel Řehka. However, opposition MPs from the ANO and SPD parties have chosen to boycott the confidential session. President Petr Pavel, on the other hand, will be in attendance.
