Annual Zlín film festival for youth gets underway
The Zlín International Film Festival for Children and Youth gets underway on Friday in the south Moravian town, featuring some 300 films from 50 countries.
This year’s 60th edition was originally due to take place at the turn of May and June, but it was posponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The screenings will only be available for registered viewers.
The main theme of this year’s edition is Back to the Future, focusing on sci-fi films for the young, documentaries about science and technologies and films with revolutionary visual effects.
