Annual pro-life rally and counter-protest take place in Prague
The annual March for Life, organised by Czechia's largest pro-life activist group Hnutí pro život (Movement for Life), took place in Prague on Saturday. The event began with a mass at St. Vitus Cathedral, followed by a gathering at Hradčanské Square. The march then set off toward Wenceslas Square, passing through Malá Strana and across Charles Bridge.
However, the march was disrupted when several hundred counter-protesters gathered at Jungmann Square and blocked part of the planned route. Police, including special conflict-prevention units, were on the scene monitoring both events to ensure safety
