American patient with Ebola symptoms moved from Tábor to Bulovka

Doctors at the hospital in Tábor, South Bohemia, detected symptoms of Ebola in a patient originally from the United States. Paramedics transferred him to Na Bulovce Hospital in Prague. In Tábor, firefighters and medical staff in protective suits are currently on site, disinfecting the ward where the patient had been hospitalized.

The patient is an American who had been in the Congo region. Test results to determine the type of infection are expected later today, as the hospital has sent samples to the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin.
