700 Czech webmasters support call to counter Russian propaganda
Hundreds of Czech webmasters have responded to a call from Czech computer programmers to let all Russians on the Internet know what the world thinks of the invasion of Ukraine. As a result hundreds of sites are now temporarily blocking access to Russians, albeit for only a few seconds, as the message “STOP Russian military aggression against Ukraine!” appears on their screen. 700 sites, including e-shops, joined the call within 24 hours as a means of countering Russian propaganda about the invasion. Miroslav Prosecký, one of the initiators of the resistance call said that if the situation worsened, he would prepare a new script with a complete blockade of Russian users.
