2020 Czech Republic’s wettest year in decade
Last year was the wettest year in a decade, according to the data released by the website meteocentrum.cz on Saturday. Total rainfall since the start of 2020 was 735 mm, compared to a long-term average of 686 mm.
The months of February, June and October were particularly rainy, while January, April and November were unusually dry.
The past few years in the Czech Republic saw below the average rainfall levels. 2018 was one of the driest years, with precipitation totalling 522 mm.
