150 schools forced to close or limit teaching since educational facilities reopened last week
Exactly 150 schools and kindergartens have had to either limit their teaching or close since the beginning of the school year on September 1, according to information gathered by Czech Radio’s news site iRozhlas.cz from regional hygiene stations. Those headmasters questioned by iRozhlas.cz said they are currently managing the situation and that communication with local hygiene stations is proceeding well.
Most of the schools that had to either limit teaching or close are in Prague (19) or the Central Bohemian Region (21). Bohemia in general is much more affected than Silesia or Moravia. The Olomouc region has fared the best thus far with only one school affected.
