War drama Anthropoid being shot in Prague

The British-US-French co-production of the war drama Anthropoid is currently being shot in Prague. The film, based on the true story of two Czechoslovak paratroopers sent to assassinate Acting Reich Protector Reinhard Heydrich in 1942, started shooting in late July. British writer-director Sean Ellis is now directing the film’s crucial scenes outside the church of Cyril and Methodius in Prague’s Resslova street where the assassins hid until they were tracked down by the SS, leading to a final, desperate gun battle. The film, staring Jamie Dornan, is to hit cinema houses in 2016.
