Trade and Tourism Association: First Ukrainian refugees being employed

The President of the Czech Trade and Tourism Association Tomáš Prouza told the Czech News Agency on Friday that the association’s members have begun employing the first refugees to arrive from Ukraine. He also added that members of the association guarantee at least 50 percent of their normal wages to Ukrainian employees choosing to go back to Ukraine and fight.

While the refugee intake system is so far working well in aspects such as residency permits, employment and financial support, there are occasional problems when it comes to finding child care and space in Czech schools, Mr Prouza said.
