Thousands in CR in position to get third Covid jab from next week

Thousands of people in the Czech Republic will be in a position to receive a third round of vaccination against Covid-19 from next week as it is now at least eight months since their initial inoculation was completed. On Monday 7,800 people will receive mobile text messages alerting them of this possibility, the news website Novinky.cz reported, citing a state official.

People will not have to wait for a third jab as there are currently sufficient supplies of vaccine.

Up to 40,000 people will be informed of the possibility of a booster shot by the end of September.
