Survey: Most Czechs plan to spend less this Christmas

Some 68 percent of Czechs are planning to spend less than usual this Christmas season, suggests a survey conducted last month for lenders Provident Financial and cited by the Czech News Agency.

The study found that last Christmas 60 percent of Czechs did not limit their outlay in the festive period in 2020, with only one third watching their wallets.

However, the long-term impact of the Covid pandemic has led Czechs to be more cautious this year, the survey indicated.
