Survey: Czechs mass buying antigen tests after government announced mass testing at work

Sales of antigen self-testing kits, especially for online retailers, have risen this week since the government announced that compulsory testing for workers would be reintroduced from January 17, a Czech News Agency survey shows.

Some retailers have already announced that they do not have any self-testing kits left to sell. However, online retailers should are expected to have enough supplies, the Czech News Agency reported on Saturday.

From January 17, all employees in the Czech Republic will have to get themselves tested for coronavirus twice a week, the government announced earlier this week.
