Survey: 80 percent of Czechs preferred that Biden win over Trump
More than 80 percent of Czechs followed the US presidential election in part and most, 66 percent, hoped the Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden would beat incumbent president Donald Trump, according to a STEM / MARK survey. Only 19 percent preferred Trump.
Women, Prague residents and voters of the opposition parties TOP 09 and Pirate were most likely to support Biden while those supporting President Miloš Zeman and the Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) party favoured Trump.
However, STEM / MARK analyst Radek Pileček told ČTK that most Czech do not have a comprehensive overview of U.S. political, so their support for a candidate is based much more on which they find more sympathetic.
