Schillerová: Virus kept Babiš away from no-confidence vote

ANO’s Alena Schillerová says leader Andrej Babiš did not take part in a vote on a no-confidence motion tabled by the party because he has a virus. A lower house debate on the matter ended late on Wednesday night with victory for the government of Petr Fiala, who have a solid majority.

Ms. Schillerová also said that Mr. Babiš had been resting in view of his demanding campaign for the presidency.

He and Petr Pavel will go into a second round vote to decide the next head of state at the end of next week.
