President Zeman to vote from home due to health concerns

Czech President Miloš Zeman will not visit a voting station, but instead hand vote at his Lány Chateau country residency, his spokesman informed on Thursday. The event will take place in private, without the presence of the public, or cameras.

The news comes just a day after Prague Castle Chancellor Vratislav Mynář assured citizens that they will see the president voting. According to Prague Castle, the decision to vote in private was made after advice from the president’s doctor Miroslav Zavoral.
