Polish PM visiting Prague to discuss bilateral relations and Turow mine
Poland’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is set to visit Prague this Wednesday, where he will meet with his Czech counterpart Petr Fiala. The two are set to discuss bilateral relations, according to an official communiqué from the Office of Government.
The Czech News Agency reports that both prime ministers could also sign a treaty stipulating the conditions for the mining of brown coal in Poland’s Torow mine near the Czech border, which has been a source of tension between both states.
The two heads of government are expected to hold a press conference at 1pm.
