Number of cars in CR climbs to 6.1 million

The number of cars on Czech roads climbed by 112,000 in the first nine months of this year, according to data issued by the Confederation of the Automotive Industry on Monday. There are now 6.1 million cars in the Czech Republic, which has a population of 10.7 million.

The average age of automobiles registered in the country has risen slightly to 15.17 years and one-third of all cars are made by Škoda.
