Vast majority of Czechs condemn invasion of Ukraine, support sanctions

Eighty-nine percent of Czechs condemn Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as an unjustifiable act of aggression, according to the results of a flash poll conducted by the Median Agency for Czech Radio. Sixty-nine percent of respondents said they supported the government’s offer to take in Ukrainian war refugees. Ninety percent of respondents said they feared a protracted military conflict on the Continent and 88 percent said they supported diplomatic negotiations to restore peace.
