Covid: reproduction number at highest level since mid-July
Some 303 new cases of Covid-19 were registered in the Czech Republic on Friday, 121 more than on the same day last week, according to Czech Health Ministry Ministry data. The reproduction rate has increased to 1.24. which is the highest figure since mid-July.
The seven-day incidence of new cases per 100,000 inhabitants is now highest in Karlovy Vary with 29 new cases, followed by Prague with 26 cases. On Friday there were 66 people in hospital with the coronavirus, fourteen of them in a critical condition.
