Czech PM to brief EU leaders on Vrbětice attack in upcoming summit

Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš will brief EU leaders at Saturday’s informal summit in Porto about the recent findings related to the Vrbětice munitions depot explosion in 2014, which evidence suggests was caused by Russian intelligence. Ahead of his flight on Friday, Mr Babiš told journalists that the topic will also be brought up by European Council President Charles Michel in a subsequent news conference.

Written conclusions about the explosion will be delivered at the European Council meeting on May 25, the Czech prime minister said.
