Prime Minister Andrej Babiš’s ANO party would win elections if held in January with 27 percent support, according to a Ipsos poll of 1,000 likely voters.

The Pirates-Independents and Mayors (STAN) coalition would place second with 23 percent, and the coalition of the Civic Democrats (ODS), Christian Democrats (KDU-ČSL) and TOP 09 third with nearly 22 percent.

The right-wing Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) party polled at 8 percent, the Communists (KSČM) at 6 percent, and ANO’s junior coalition partner, the Social Democrats (ČSSD), at below 6 percent.
