Czech Covid risk index again at 90 out of 100
The Czech Covid-19 risk index was at 90 out of 100 for the second day in a row on Saturday. This is the highest level since the introduction of the current five-tiered system of Covid restrictions in mid-November. The figure in two regions – Central Bohemia and Pardubice – stands at 95, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
The government has imposed level five measures until at least January 10. All restaurants and hotels are closed while shops may only sell essential items. Gatherings of no more than two are allowed, there is a curfew from 9 pm and work from home is obligatory where possible.
