The National Museum has a new facade. After seven years, Prague residents and visitors can again admire the building overlooking Wenceslas Square in all its glory. Bullet holes from 1968 remain in place on the facade, although they are now less visible; Soviet soldiers had opened fire on the building in the belief that it was a parliament or government building.
