Much of donated Koudelka archive arrives in Prague

A large part of the archive of the world-famous Czech photographer Josef Koudelka has arrived at Prague’s Academy of Art, Architecture and Design, the institution said on its website. Koudelka, who is 83, donated his works to the academy but the transfer of some of it from the Magnum agency in Paris to its depository was delayed by the Covid situation.

The crates that were delivered in the middle of last week contain some of the photographer’s most famous collections, including Invasion and Gypsies.
