Media: Czech reporter attacked on Polish-Belarusian border

A group of people dressed in Polish Army uniforms near the Polish-Belarusian border attacked a group of three photo reporters on Tuesday, the Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza reports. One of the three was Czech photographer Martin Divíšek, according to the paper.

The Polish Defence Ministry reacted with a statement that no Polish soldiers attacked the photographers and that the action was legitimate.

The situation on the Polish-Belarusian border, over which the Belarusian regime is sending refugees, has been very tense in recent months, with frequent provocations by Belarusian armed forces and desperate attempts by refugees to illegally cross into the EU.
