Kulhánek becomes Czech permanent representative to UN

Former foreign minister Jakub Kulhánek has officially become Czech permanent representative to the United Nations in New York. Mr. Kulhánek, who is 37, presented his credentials to the UN secretary general, Antonio Guterres, on Tuesday.

The post had been unoccupied since October, when Marie Chatardová left to become Czech ambassador to London.
