Hospitals need more blood plasma from people who have recovered from Covid-19
Czech hospitals have appealed on people who have fully recovered from Covid-19 to help others by donating blood plasma if their state of health allows.
Although the number of people hospitalized with Covid-19 is gradually dropping doctors say there is still a shortage of blood plasma, which is one of the effective treatments being increasingly used in Czech hospitals.
Donors must be in good health, aged between 18 and 65 and weigh over 50 kilos. They must also test non-reactive for transmissible viruses including hepatitis and HIV.
