Former President Klaus may be released from hospital by end of this week, spokesman says
Václav Klaus, who was President of the Czech Republic from 2003 to 2013, may be released from the Military University Hospital in Prague by the end of this week, his spokesman Petr Mancinka reportedly told news site Seznam Zprávy.
Former President Klaus was taken to the hospital last week due to hypertension problems. He was shortly released thereafter, but had to return on Tuesday. However, it now looks like he could be spending the weekend at his home, Petr Macinka said.
The hospital, in which Václav Klaus is currently staying, is also tending to current Czech President Miloš Zeman.
