Festival 4+4 Days in Motion gets underway in Prague

The international festival of contemporary art 4 + 4 Days in Motion kicks off in Prague’s Strašnice district on Thursday. Last year, it lasted only three days due to anti-coronavirus measures, but this year it go over two week, until September 26.

The festival, which focuses on theatre, dance and the visual arts, also seeks to promote community life and draw attention to buildings of architectural note in Prague that are unused and in some cases crumbling.

The 4+4 Days in Motion festival, as in 2020, will be held in one such disused building, namely the New Strašnice School.
