Experts expect doubling of Covid hospitalisations in CR within fortnight

The Covid epidemic in the Czech Republic is developing according to what the Institute for Health Information and Statistics describes as a “risk scenario”. While the number of patients with the virus in hospitals now stands at 544 (95 in critical condition), the agency expects that figure to rise to 1,200 (250 in ICU) by the start of next month.

The number of freshly confirmed coronavirus cases on Monday was over 2,521, up from 1,343 the same day a week earlier.
