Ester Ledecká scores first points in Giant Slalom

Czech skier and snowboarder Ester Ledecká finished in the 20th spot in the women’s Giant Slalom race in Austria’s Sölden on Saturday. The Olympic Super-G winner earned her first World Cup points in the discipline.

It was the first Giant Slalom race for Ledecká since the Alpine World Ski Championships in April 2018. The next World Cup event will take place in mid-November, with two parallel slalom competitions in Lech Zürs in Austria.
