Eleven receive Gratias Agit for promoting good name of CR

Eleven people have been awarded the Czech Foreign Ministry’s Gratias Agit prize for promoting the good name of the country internationally. The choreographers and dancers Jiří Kylián and Ivan Liška – who are based in the Netherlands and Germany, respectively received the award in person from Minister Jakub Kulhánek at the Černín Palace on Thursday.

However, in view of the coronavirus situation the other laureates will receive the Gratias Agit in the countries where they live. Among them is František Příhoda, an Australian Olympic champion of Czech origin who this year turned 100.
