Decline in new Covid-19 cases continues
Around 7,874 new cases of Covid-19 were registered in the Czech Republic on Thursday, which represents a fall of around 5400 from the previous week. There are now 140,201 active cases in the country.
The number of people hospitalised with Covid-19 has dropped to 7,564, with 1,120 in a serious condition. Some 47 people died on Thursday, bringing the overall death toll to 5,755.
Since the pandemic began almost 446,675 people have tested positive for the coronavirus. Nearly 300,000 of them have already recovered from the disease.
