Czechs to host World Biathlon Championships in 2024

The Czech Republic will host the World Biathlon Championships in 2024, for the second time in its history. No other country contended, the International Biathlon Union announced.

The sporting event will be held in Nové Město na Moravě, in the Vysočina region, as in 2013, when the team Veronika Vítková, Gabriela Soukalová, Jaroslav Soukup and Ondřej Moravec won a bronze in mixed relays.
