Czech Republic takes in Romanian Covid patients

The Czech Republic accepted two patients with severe cases of Covid-19 from Romania on Saturday, the news site iRozhlas.cz reported. The government of Romania, which has very high infection rates, had appealed to other European states, including the Czech Republic, for help.

The Romanian patients, a man and woman, were flown to the Czech Republic by a special government plane.
