Czech police to check foreigners coming to ski
The Czech police will carry out checks on foreigners coming to the country to ski when mountain resorts open on Friday. Non-residents will need to produce negative Covid-19 tests when they arrive at the slopes, in line with a switch from level three to level four on the Czech system of Covid-19 restrictions.
The head of the Central Crisis Staff, Interior Minister Jan Hamáček, said it would only be possible to enter the country for important reasons. However, an exception is being made for visits to ski resorts – if a negative test is shown.
While the slopes will be open, hotels have been ordered to close.
