Czech national killed on MFO mission in Sinai

A Czech national is reported to be among the seven people killed in a helicopter crash in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula. The helicopter was carrying members of an international peacekeeping force, including several French nationals and one American. According to international news sources the crash appears to have been caused by a technical failure. The helicopter belonged to the multinational force, known as MFO, which monitors the Israeli-Egyptian peace accord.
