Czech Lions to be held at Rudolfinum on March 5

The Czech Lion national film awards will be held on March 5 at traditional venue the Dvořák Hall at Prague’s Rudolfinum, the organisers said on Wednesday. The event will be hosted for the first time by actor, director and writer Jiří Havelka.

The nominations for the Czech Lions, which are voted on by the country’s Film and Television Academy, will be announced on 17 January.

This year’s edition of the awards ceremony was held behind closed doors in view of the Covid situation.
