Covid-19: Czech teachers tested for free until December 18

Teachers in the Czech Republic can get tested for Covid-19 free of charge from this Friday until December 18. If every educator opted to take a test, that would amount to some 170,000 people, the Ministry of Health says.

Health Minister Jan Blatný said the costs of testing will be covered by the public health insurance. Separately, he is pushing for each district in the country to have at least one Covid-19 testing centre to administer the same antigen tests as used in nursing homes recently.
