Covid-19: Czech designates Germany, Sweden, Cyprus as ‘red’ on traffic light risk system

As of Monday (16 November), travellers from Germany, Sweden and Cyprus must submit a negative Covid-19 test to enter the Czech Republic or go into quarantine, Foreign Minister Tomáš Petříček said via Twitter.

This means the three countries are designated as “red” on the so-called Covid-19 traffic light level of risk. Exceptions are made for visits of up to 12 hours and trips by certain professional groups. Petříček said the limit could be raised to 24 hours on Tuesday, pending approval by the cabinet.
