Coronavirus: Incidence number rising with Prague currently most affected

Friday saw 6,666 people test positive for Covid-19 in the Czech Republic, a similar number to that recorded on the previous day and 1,700 more than on the same day last week, Health Ministry data show.

The incidence rate a the average number of cases per 100,000 people has risen to an average of 404 cases. However, hospitalizations are falling, 2,500 people in hospital as opposed to last Friday’s 3,120.

Prague currently has the highest number of cases in the country.
