Confidence in the economy drops further

Confidence in the Czech economy fell by another 4.4 points to 82 points in November compared to the previous month. The most significant decrease was recorded among entrepreneurs in selected services and trade, which were directly affected by the coronavirus measures.

The business confidence indicator fell by 4.8 points to 81.7 points in November, while consumer confidence fell by 2.9 points to 83.1 points. The number of consumers who are afraid of losing their job has also risen sharply, according to the Czech Statistics Office.
