Companies pushing employees to get the Covid vaccine

Although inoculation against Covid is voluntary many companies are pushing for their employees to get the jab in order to prevent fall-outs in production.

According to unvaccinated Škoda Auto employees could be relegated to other positions if their work involves business trips abroad. The news site said the move could affect many people, since thousands of employees travel to the group's foreign plants, from technicians in development, testing and production, through laboratory, marketing and sales managers.

A Skoda spokesperson has confirmed the report, saying the car maker is aiming for complete inoculation of its staff and would motivate and reward those who were considerate of their own health and the health of others.
