Cabinet to meet Sunday to discuss reopening shops and restaurants

The minister of health, Jan Blatný, says the cabinet will hold a special meeting on Sunday in view of a possible easing of coronavirus restrictions that would see shops, restaurants and services reopen the following day. Normally such government meetings take place on Mondays.

At present the score on the government’s index for calculating Covid risk places the country in the third highest risk level. If this is sustained for a seven-day period some restrictions will be removed.
