BIS warns of growing activities of Iranian, Russian and Chinese agents

In its annual national security report the Czech counterintelligence service BIS highlights the increased activity on the part of Iranian agents across Europe. The report says that in the Czech Republic, they are mainly interested in information from technical universities, which could help them in the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. The BIS also highlights the activities of agents from Russia and China, which are traditionally diverse.

In connection with the Covid pandemic, the service warns that more people have become susceptible to misinformation and conspiracy theories.
