Beňačková and Hrůša to receive Dvořák Award next week

The Antonín Dvořák Award for 2019 and 2020 will be presented to soprano Gabriela Beňačková and conductor Jakub Hrůša next week. They will receive the prize – which is for the long-term promotion of Czech music at home and abroad – at a concert of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra at Prague’s Rudoflinum next Wednesday.

The Antonín Dvořák Award has been bestowed by the Czech Academy of Classical Music since 2012. The concert will be broadcast live on TV.
