Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková win ATP Finals Women’s doubles

Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková are this year‘s ATP Women’s doubles champions after beating Hsieh Su-wei and Elise Mertens 6:3 and 6:4 in the final game at the Estadio Akron de Tenis in Mexico. They are the first all-Czech doubles duo to achieve victory at one of the most prestigious tournaments in women’s tennis.

The victory follows a highly successful season in which the two women won the doubles at Roland Garros and the Olympic Games in Tokyo. It also means that Kateřina Siniaková will end this year’s season in ranked nr. 1 in the doubles category.
