Average monthly wage reaches 38,275 in 2Q

The average monthly wage in the Czech Republic rose by 11.3 percent year-on-year to 38,275 crowns in the second quarter of 2021, according to data released by the Czech Statistics Office. In gross terms, employees made on average of 3,893 crowns more a month than they did a year ago. Taking into account inflation, earnings rose by 8.2 percent in real terms. According to the Czech Statistics Office, it is the highest wage growth since the year 2,000.
